Steampunk Weather - The giant engines of the atmosphere - Part 2

To continue with the theme, the hurricane is a giant steampunk engine of incredible power.  More than a nuclear plant, maybe a continuous nuclear bomb.  We'll never know.  It's a turbine engine, which has been allowed in some steampunk novels.

The weather people wouldn't know steampunk physics, if it hit them in the head.  They probably don't even read that stuff.  I am at a Great Dither on the mechanism here.  I must put up a hypothesis that is compatible with the Laws of Physics.  Then, it can be tested by measurements, which will never happen, because every physics explanation by the warmies starts with 'too impractical for field measurements', so we have to make up shit.

The big problem with the standard diagram is that everything converges to the bottom, which is impossible without a black hole.  We need 'Conservation of Mass'.  It's like them making up 'Dark Matter' where there isn't any.  I find there is a tendency to make things up, rather than saying 'No Clue'.  A lot more money that way.

This is a huge problem for me, and I have come up with my usual original 'epiphany' .  Since it will never be tested, I will just take it to my grave.  Needless to say, just like clear convection and airplanes, this wilful ignorance will cost a lot of lives.

- maybe one more

ps no more articles.  This is a complex turbine engine with a double vortex.  My brain hurts trying to figure it out, and it will never be tested.  Best to live in ignorance.
