State of the Oceans - Feb 15, 2025

 To the natgas speculators now reading my blog, the physics is showing that all heat (80%) for the earth comes from the oceans.  Water has something like 4000 times the heat energy density of air, yet our former warmies just looked at air.  

I always talk in absolutes when the odds are over 80%.  Saves a lot of time.  Our leftie friends always talk like butterflies control our weather.  For example, the atmosphere sheds its heat at over 80% by convection, yet the old PR machines would talk 'non-negligible' for radiation, and yell at us about 'greenhouse gases'.  There is no such thing with the 80% rule.  They never measured anything directly, since they 'knew' the truth.

Now that Trump has killed them, we will never get into physics.  It will be just a big grey goo of nothing.

This, above, is the equatorial belt of the Atlantic Ocean.  No heat.

This is the North Atlantic, source of all heat for the UK and Europe.

This above is the Nino Zone, a little bit of the Pacific equatorial belt.  It is crawling up from nothing, but that's due to the summer in the Southern Hemisphere.  I always look at this to spot another Great Heating Event like last year, but I don't see anything.

You can see on the anomaly plot that southern warmth is expected.

This current is the source of all the world's heat.  Last year, the huge heating event was seen in the ocean currents, and I didn't catch it.  It totally reversed all current in the Far West.  In terms of heat energy, it was larger than 2016.  I would have loved to have some physics on it, but we don't do that.  

Since 2016, we have had many heating events.  I recorded all of them in terms of ocean current.  They progressed from east to west, all reversing hunks of the belt.  

Poor Noaa has a big math error when calculating earth temperatures, it is drifting up since 1980.  But this shows all the peaks.  They are not showing the huge drop we have now.  Oh well, all their bright people have been fired, and we'll never get anything.

In summary, the Pacific Belt has completely turned over, getting fed by cold Antarctic water, instead of from the north.  We have no history of what happened during the 70's which was decades-long cold spell, or during the Little Ice Age, which was a 2-300 year cold spell.  I am going 80% with the long spell, because we are slushing up the northern Greenland, which was the only sign we have from the 1600's.  

Three of you might be asking - What is the mechanism that brings us heat energy?  I say - Ha!
