Recharged Arctic hits hard

The Arctic is fully recharged when there is good cold all over Greenland.  My hypothesis is that it is acting like a tip-bucket.  When it is full, it tips out, down established channels.  For a while, ocean warmth stopped it from coming down on Toronto and Europe.  The full spill went over California and Asia a couple of times, and nobody cared.

Now, we have the channels.

So much fun.  Of a more serious note, the 'Greenland Inset' is freezing over.

This will freeze up the islands of Svarl and Nzem.  When that whole channel is full of ice, the Road to Europe is open.

The North Pole cyclones are breaking up, but the Hudson Bay Steam Turbine remains.  It floats this way and that way, but is always around.  It is gone when the bay freezes up.

ps. Woo, that was a cold dog walk.
