A perfect 'Reverse Hurricane" over Greenland

I have been calling these a 'clockwise gyre'.  That's because most of them are caused by wind shear.  There is a perfect example by California.

There, you have cold wind streams zooming by each other, stirring the pot, so to speak.  A normal hurricane is driven by heat in the centre, creating an amazing double turbine.  For Greenland, you have an intensely cold centre, and I have no idea of the mechanics.  The warmer air must come in and dive, but details escape me.

Now that the warmies in "The big n's" are toast, I still don't expect any physics.  I suppose everybody will be just sitting around, doing nothing.
