State of the Oceans - Feb 5, 2024

This is a clean westerly current.  The return current that fooled nooa, is gone.

The Gulf Stream is more active up the Iceland Gap.  This will stop ice forming in the region, and may stop 'Freezing of the Thames'.

You can see that the famous El No-no is completely gone and now coral-bleached.  There will be no obit in the media.

This is interesting, and you can see the turbulence spikes moving along and fading.  This has allowed me to have another one of my revelations, that robbed me of sleep all night.  I have finally figured out the mechanics of the equatorial flow.  It is in the form of a hypothesis, and needs more physics done, but that won't happen in my lifetime.

There are no more 'hotspots' left on the equator, and the tropical heat is dropping rapidly.  This means less hot plumes and more cold outbreaks.

ps.  the formation of an ice cycle, comes when the cold flow from the south in the East Pacific becomes greater than the flow coming from the north.  It is not being measured, but you get a hint of what is happening by the temperature of the Pacific Belt.
