I ran into some info on company hijinks. Similar things have happened to bozo-ing and Nortel. For years, they kept their stock prices high by massaging quarterly results. It lifts the price, if they have 'pretty' results, of an exact increase every quarter. Makes people think they know what they are doing.
The inner guts of Nortel and such reveal that the upper management become so obsessed with pretty results, they start doing horrible things to the fundamentals. Blah.
Anyway, nobody ever knows about this until the end. I'm just upset, but I will keep my mouth shut. We all wait.
ps. this company is closer to home. Just check the quarterly results.
