Going into a slightly different weather pattern

Our cold Spring is caused by very little heat energy in the Pacific.  We are assured that this will soon end.  On the local scale, we are having a pattern of clear cold, followed by warmth and rain.  At any time, that rain could be snow.  The storms have been severe because of the huge difference in temperature between the warm and the cold

You can see the last slash going down the West coast.  This slashing of the Pacific plumes makes warm air cross the mountains and brings up the warm Gulf air.  It is essentially a continuation of the Pacific plume into the Atlantic.

This is now changing with the next plume which is going straight North.  It might hit the cold air directly which would hasten Spring.  It is pure chaos at this stage.
