Wow, never seen such production. The working hypothesis is that these cold cyclones are factories for very dense cold air. The Arctic Basin acts as a headpond for a dam, since it is confined on all sides, by either highlands, or ocean plumes. This cold air builds up like water, or runny jam, and then a spillway opens up. If it goes to Canada, then the media notices it. But it can go out at numerous spots that the media ignores.
Our air is mostly stagnant right now.
You can see that Greenland is a tropical paradise.
Toronto is getting normal temperatures for this time of year. The Arctic is covered with warm at high altitude, which is being turned into nasty, dense cold.
ps Canada may not have a traditional La Nina winter this year again due to factors such as global warming and the “Pacific blob,” says a climatologist.
“There’s certainly a hint that we’re going to have a winter, but I don’t think it will be as brutal or strong as it was traditionally back, say 20 or 30 years ago,” David Phillips of Environment and Climate Change Canada said in a video interview with CTVNews.ca from Barrie, Ont., on Tuesday.
He said he is basing his remarks on data, such as ocean temperatures and historic patterns.
I'm so happy that I think this guy is the wrongiest on the planet. He has a secure job, which is great. But I'm going the opposite way, that we will have winter from 20-30 years ago, or deeper into the unrecorded past. If he is wrong, then I will crow with my 6 readers. We won't hear anything from the weather people. That's the way they work, they mark their own grades. If I'm wrong, then back to the drawing board.
