Ouch!  Like getting a mammogram.  Other than that, no weather news.

My favourite us gov agencies are all shut down.  They are the only ones with a little bit of physics, but a lot of it is automated, and will take a while to run down, like a badly maintained escalator.

ps  nobody on the San Francisco flight back to Toronto.  They had to seat everyone in the back to balance all the tech bros in first class.  Might as well cancel these things.
