I've decided to change my Arctic spill magnitude scale to A5 through A9. This just replaces the M, which sounded too much like earthquakes. I was thinking G for geofish, but then I thought of G7, ha. F for fish, is the tornado scale.
On the Alaska shot, you can see the lobate front, right beside the residual G5.
I get twigged to these things by the Toronto forecast, which shows cold in 7 days. You can't really see much in the video, but the UK is getting hammered. I can't use a scale for the UK because the Arctic flow is confined in the Greenland Gap, and doesn't show a lobate front.
For all of Europe there is a nice lobate front indicating an A8, but it is stuck by Atlantic plumes.
ps warmies still showing hope for Atlantic hurricanes - no chance.
