The next plume is running away from us. Not good for Spring-lovers.
We can see fuzzy Arctic blobs coming down on us. The Gulf air may sneak up along the mountains.
This is the time of 'Broken Blobs' because of seasonal heat, but not broken enough. We won't get 20 below, but cold enough.
A 'long cold winter' is defined by the months of snow, and the heating bill. Not headlines of 'warmest February ever'. This is a long, cold winter.
ps we have our rather goulish confirmation of carbon warming -- a forest fire. Any forest fire is touted out by the media.
No other proofs hanging around.
ps as with the California fires, these are driven by strong cold Arctic winds.

ps I am now buying garden supplies. A lot of soaker hose, and rabbit fence. American stuff is now 3 times more expensive with the duties. I'm buying the Chinese stuff. We must expect a fine 70's summer of stagnant air, no rain, intense sun heat. Soaker hose is essential. Coyotes are wandering out streets in packs in the daytime. I hope they take care of the rabbits.
