Spring comes when the Pacific plumes sweep warm air over N. Am. Unfortunately, there is no Springtime for Trumpler coming. Due to the Polar Vortex Collapsing forever, we will have a late Spring.
The weak Pacific air we do have is being smashed by Arctic air, which is finally coming out of recharge. This looks like a low clipper, which I haven't seen before.
We have a huge air mass of very cold air over the Arctic, with a white Greenland. Using the 'warm cycle' pattern that the warmies are stuck with, we would expect to see this breaking up by now.
ps no mention of Polar Vortex Fairies in the news today. That was so yesterday.
