This now looks like a good Spring pattern. It is very late, compared to our great warming period. All the weather people are calling it 'average' or a 'classic Spring', not telling anybody that the average is 1973. Those Pacific plumes are being created from seasonal solar flux, not any stored heat in the equatorial belt. We will have to look at the 'heating degree day' chart to determine 'warmth' and not the selected stuff they throw at us.
Once the last of that cold is shoved off for disposal in Europe, we can plant the tomatoes in Toronto.
Looks like the Gulf Stream is off again. The Arctic cold has to be thrown to the garbage heap somewhere, and it is the happy people of Europe that are enjoying a 'classic' Spring (from the ice age!)
In two days, I give the 'all clear' for tomatoes in Toronto, with the usual crap of 80% etc. and be ready to throw on crop covers, but it is the same amount of 'risque' as the Met Gala.
I'm just showing the Europe winds because NA is swirly mess. Just look at that cold jet hitting Northern Spain! Somebody is seeing their breath this morning.
ps the dog walk was horrible this morning. I'm still chilled. We are getting the pure North wind from that pocket of cold I want to give to Europe.
ps and you can see that the Gulf Stream isn't doing so hot these days
It's all set up for a wonderful ice-skating Spring for Europe.
