Looks like no moderating Pacific plumes for us. We are in the Clash of the Titans, with very cold air from the Arctic and warm air from the tropics. Another big storm is coming towards us.
Tons of trees knocked down at the cottage from the ice storm. One big branch missed everything important but smashed the plastic wood bin to pieces. Our cottages along the bay all seemed to have near-misses, but somebody on the lake must have gotten hit.
Somehow, fish appeared on my bbq.
The lake trout are all breeding with splake, and these had a hint of splakiness, which made it moist and magnificent. It was horribly cold at night, with no heating, and pretty horrible to get up out of the blankets to conduct some business.
Anybody with the religious belief of clange, should get out there in the cold.
