State of the Oceans - May 12, 2025

It is my hypothesis that the heat flow of the upper Earth follows the laws of physics, especially entropy.  That means the heat energy cascades from higher grade (as power density) to a lower one, finally going out into space, as the final product of grey goo (very low density).  This is like the heat energy flow in your gas car.

As such, the oceans are at the top of the energy food chain, and we must look at them.  Weather people take a different view, sticking to their tradition, and assume the atmosphere drives the oceans.

The temperature chart of the doomer climateests, is derived from peak temperatures on land, which has nothing to do with heat energy.  Think of Death Valley at High Noon in July.  They love to report that sort of thing.  That temperature chart has lost all meaning, but they still flog us with that.

So, surface water satellite temperatures are 10 times better.  They are all well down from the peak last year.  Notice that it is cold?  We are at 1973 temperatures.

The Pacific equatorial belt is very cold.  However, we are getting summer warmth in the upper tropics band, and that gives us nice Spring weather in Toronto.  Europe is delayed for Spring, because heat delivery takes a while.

All in all, the physics forecast at 80% calls for 1973 weather for the foreseeable future, at least 20 years.  No return to swimming in the lake at the start of May.  Ice storms will take over the power line destruction, from tornadoes.  You can plan for a short stagnant summer that will melt your socks off.

The Arctic Ice Volume chart seems to be a casualty.  Very heavy ice is seen in Antarctica, and I continue to note that there has not been a speck of Carbon Global Warming down at the South Pole.  Doya think?
