Ocean currents -- March 27, 2019

The 'anti-Gulf stream' or Flug Stream continues.  The Atlantic Ocean continues to dump heat to the south.

The Flug Stream means cold weather for the UK.

In the Pacific, I am amazed that the Bering Straight current is roaring at full strength.  I've never seen this current before, so we are going to have to call it something.  I'm going to call it the Gore Stream.

The Gore Stream is flowing like a river between the Aleutian Islands, and organizing itself for a hit on the Pacific current.  When that happens, I may call it a major ice age turnover.  The GS may also be saline and is indicative of massive Arctic ice build-up.  We've got nasa halfway there with Greenland, maybe they'll look at the Arctic.
