In an earlier article, I assumed that the plane was unstable, because any pilot would have immediately turned off the auto pilot. Surprise! There was no way to turn it off. And no mention in the manual.
To have merely mentioned the dang thing, Boeing would have had to give it a speaking part and paid millions more. Now we'll never know that if they had been able to unplug the wild computer, they could have saved the plane. I seriously doubt it.
