Narrow clippers heading for NASA

I had said that our new winter pattern was 'Clipper City', but they are narrow, sharp clippers that miss Toronto, and go for Florida.  Nasa will have fun in November with the flying pig launch.

The Europe clippers are fighting the plumes from the Gulf of Mexico, but they usually win.

You can seen on the instant sea surface temperature chart that the hurricane bump is over and we are going back to the north winter plunge.  Because the sea heat energy is 1000 times greater than the thin air, this is a primary input, and we are going well below last year.  As we go into an ice cycle, the line will get lower and lower.

In the media, we'll see more of the 'endless La Ninas' philosophy, which are 'temporarily' holding the temperatures down, and that they'll zoom up soon because of carbon.  This is a great line and everybody will go for it.  Maybe another person in the world will ask for more physics, but I'm not holding my breath.  For now, enjoy the stories.

ps.  here's an interesting prediction.

Within the article, there is an opposition which is that the winter will be colder when measured in degree-days.  That's what I want everybody to do, instead of measuring things with stories.
