Today is a paradox. We have the Gulf plume coming over us, and yet, not a speck of heat energy. This should be as hot as the last mini heatwave, but nada.
Europe is now getting our heatwave. Hope they take lots of pictures.
In the video, which I didn't bother grabbing, we have swirls, and another indication that the Arctic mechanism is dead. We have stagnant conditions, and we should be hot from solar heating alone, yet nothing. So, June is a write-off, but we always have July for the pictures.
ps this total weirdness takes me out of the weather forecast game.
ps I'm also thinking this is worse than I expected - a total Little Ice Age. Not fun.
