Stagnant Sludge Storm Coming at Us

A big linear like that is a storm, and it seems to be a big one.  That is ridiculous to have Pacific air sailing over the mountains like nothing at all.  That means a lot of energy, and a very high wall of air, perhaps a full 20,000 feet.  It is mixing with very cold Arctic air.  I would give this storm a rating of 'dang tootin large'.

All our storm drains are plugged with snow.  Expect flooding on the roads.  Tell your boss you stubbed your toe.
