Strong Pacific air has whacked into it. Some uncertainty in the exact path.
The two images conflict. I'll go with a Big Blob of Blackness hitting the US.
The video doesn't tell us much. If there is a big mix of the Pacific air, then another huge snowstorm.
It is ironic that these Pacific plumes are being scooped up by extreme cold pouring out of the Bering Str.
ps this will hit just in time for the Eglinton LRT opening.
ps the real complication is that the Arctic air is slipping under the Pacific air. That gives Texas more cold.
ps now they are calling it a 'Dislocated Polar Vortex' Somebody get the doctor!
