They are at the unique spot of constant collisions between the cold Arctic blobs and the warm southern weather. With our upcoming winter of endless Arctic blobs, Ottawa will go back to its usual 10 feet of snow as in the 1830's.
Toronto will always have moderated weather from the Great Lakes.
Perhaps the Ghost of Elvis Nino will save Ottawa. I'm sure that everybody there will clap their hands, because they believe in leftwinger fairies.
