Can't figure this out. Looks like the Arctic has gone into free-flow, which happened last year. That means there is no 'recharge', but an alternate flow to Europe and NA.
There is a lobate front, but we can't tell much about it.
NA has a light flow that is squeezing some horrible weather to Toronto. All the spill action is on Europe. They have to wait for their weather people to say "It's cold because it's cold".
ps ha, ha. The UK is calling this a freak. Welcome to the new cold world.
ps the winds around us are very chaotic, with actual 3d wind braids. A big mess.
