I love this article. I have the hypothesis of the 'cross-connected brain', which are in brilliant, creative-thinking individuals that are 10 times more productive than the average. Cornering the market on these people was how MS and Ammie got so far ahead.
I've always used my cross brain to do less work. But, what if you are an American? And you hook up with an Artie, the most unoriginal brain ever. Now, your 10 times becomes 100 times, and you do it for 10 bucks more. It took 10 years for the MS and Ammie brains to burn out. Now, they can do in 1 year.
Traditionally, cross brains burn out at 40 years old. What is the mechanism? There is physics for intense brain activity. You have heat, and a need for iron, and other nutrients. As well, there must be physical burn-up. I am amazed.
The companies don't care because they get the output of 20 years, all in one year. But the cost of bodies on the floor! Anyway, something to look out for.

ps I have no advice for Americans who burn the candle at both ends and the middle. When you have this brain condition, you get brain storms at night, and this is where the best ideas come from. You need to try to sleep. If you are hooked into an Artie, then you stay up for the brain storms. Doesn't help much, but it kills you. At 40 years old, you need standard anti-depressants which are a cross-connection nutrient. Why not take these at 20? And burn out in less than a year.
