Cottage Report - Life in the Band

We are stuck in this band of muggy nothing.  Total stagnation, feels heavy to breathe.  Taking its time to blow through.

Came to the boat and saw the side panel of the covering was blown in.  Oh no!  I have an automatic bilge pump, and I'm always terrified it will drain the battery, and this was the time.  Good thing I brought the jifty jump start battery pack.  Saved me a dime.

That must have been a heck of a lot of rain.  Clear air should come in tomorrow.

ps finally went down to the bottom of hits on the blog.  Back to 3 readers, and I shall just do the cottage report for the summer.  Now is the time to be completely kept warm by the warmie myth.  Enjoy it.

ps today, Friday is very nice.  Sunny and warm.  Couldn't start the boat motor, because it was still too down.  Luckily the neighbour had a fancy charger, and it filled up slowly over a couple of hours.  I think it is fine, now.  Too much rain, and I am working on refitting the cover, so no more gaps.  Everything is out on the dock, drying after being scrubbed.  Neglect your boat and get stuck.  Dragonflies zooming by me on the deck, but the deerflies are coming out.
