NOAA has put out its world plot early. This is my adjustment showing 'all months' from 1970. This is the Great Chart of Truth. We must honour this chart, since it is the basis of all Climate Science.
The Chart of Infinite Truth has a physics secret. They don't go sticking their heads out the door and look for snow in May. No, it relies on infra-red shine from the surface of the earth. If you went around and spread Shine Powder everywhere, the chart would go up, and still, there would be snow in May.
Of course, nobody is spreading Shine Powder, but it shows that this is an 'indirect assumption' of what the surface of the earth is doing to infra-red light. They have to mathematically assemble every little patch of earth, and come up with this Magnificent Chart. Piling on another assumption, they just put together the 'anomaly' from previous measurements.
I love this chart. It is a Holy Relic of fervent religious belief. If this chart were not a Religious Artefact like a piece of the True Cross, then it would correlate with other charts. But it doesn't. It stands by itself.
As I said, the Chart of Magnificence relies on a patch of dirt always being the same, compared to a long time ago. I mentioned Shine Powder, but more realistically, you could plant a tree, chop down a tree, plough it, pave it, build on it. Patches of dirt around here don't stay the same.
So, we go to other charts that don't depend on patches of dirt. The best is water. We can also depend on 'general observation'. We note that, using the 'stick the head out the door' method, we are back to 1973. The Great Lakes have frozen back to 1973, and snow in May is 1973. Everything around us is 1973, except for the Great Chart.
This is the Gulf of Maine, right in the middle of our area of interest. The chart only goes back to 1981, but I would call this 1973. We don't have Hudson Bay, or the Great Lakes in this format, because nobody does physics, but all indications are 1973.
The Nino Band of the Pacific Ocean? -- 1973.
How about the chart of the patches of ice in Antarctica? No variation from 1973.
In the end, I have to go with the isolated Chart of Northern Dirt Patches. It gives me belly laughs.
Just when I am saying we are seeing Spring, they go back to Polar Vortex Fairies, which are as measurable as the Lock Ness Monster.
You can't pay for this kind of entertainment. Yet, the public is drifting away from Influencer Science.
Nobody is dumb enough to buy electric vans. Everybody is struggling with the heating demand of 1973, Someone could calculate Heating Degree Days for this winter -- 1973,
So, if we had a properly calibrated Chart of Dirt, it would be flat as a pancake, and we would be at 1973. We had our nice warm cycles, when I went to the cottage, swimming on the first of May, be we are down in the cold dumps now. Still the total ignorance of Influencer Science has caused us to waste trillions of dollars and start a US backlash. I am proud of this, a fine example of human nature.
ps so raise a glass of tariffed Scotch -- This was the chart that launched a thousand windmills, and built the topless towers of Chinese slaved solar cells.
