Aliexpress horrible experience

My love affair with them is over.  To be fair, I had similar experiences with ammie, where they sicced the lawyers on me.  I still order from them, but I went more with Ali.

They are totally Artie herding wild vendors.  I had a vendor go totally trumpy on me, and ali did not respond.  I just tried again today and got into a useless loop with the Artie, and they accused me of not cooperating.

Really, it's a $13 dispute, and I saved more in buying a great 12V battery to fix my very old UPS.  I just wanted to clear this up, since I wanted to review.  But the crazy guy said I never ordered it from him and the real order was 'in the mail'.  Not going to arrive because his drunken cousin sent the wrong thing.

Anyway, all standard fun with Chinese stuff.  Good for 9 out of 10, and then you hit a doozy.  Ammie has this settled down but you pay twice as much.

Arctic spinning up for final spill

My reputation is shattered with the perfect flight of nosa moon-shot.  In my day with the old company, I was always happy with twice as much, and twice as long.  They did it.

The evil half of nosa continues with the climate fantasy, and the world accepts it.  Fine by me.  I am predicting one last blast in a week or two.  The Arctic tip bucket is spinning and filling as it always had, most of the winter.  We were interrupted by a few micro heating events and that saved US natgas.  Perhaps we'll always have these little events.

No heat action from the Pacific now, so it's pure Gulf vs Arctic and Toronto is on the battle-front.  During the warm cycle, we had Pacific air wafting over us.

It is now part of the literature that the 2024 event was an El Nino by the heating results.  No mention that it was never declared at the time.  Such a wonderful ability to rewrite history.  Their new slogan is "Even in a warming world, we can have cold".  And they constantly reference "The warming oceans".  We will have this fun forever.

ps big news on data centres warming things up, but nobody puts this on the general 'urbanization' drift of land temperatures.

Being selective is a super-power.

ps Hilarious!  Today the Google Artie on the home speaker is reading 'degrees C', that little symbol, as "to the power of C".  I suppose that's 'to the power of the speed of light'.  All those who are leaving their 'boiling to death' anxiety, over to 'Arties will take all jobs" can relax.  Even 'plastics are eating my brain' has been shown to be the dang plastic gloves.

Northern air pushes down softly, softly

Wow, that was some rain in Toronto.  It's moved down to the US.  It might hang around there for a while.  I didn't want to post until I saw some rationality in the news.  Not going to happen.

The Arctic is in recharge, with a fine recharge vortex.  We can expect this back and forth game for the rest of the month.  One hot day, a week of cold.

No rain today, so we can move some dirt to the garden.  Planting peas should be fine.

I transplanted the tomatoes from seed, into small cups.  This way they'll get root bound and I'll be able to hold them if my forecast for a late Spring come true - 50%

Gulf of Maine temperature has broken through the bottom of the chart and is leaking all over the place.  This can be regarded as terrible for the length of our growing season.  Go to greenhouses.

ps I'm hoping the ice age will bring back the blueberries which we haven't seen since 1992.  There was a big ice storm at the cottage, can't wait to see the damage.
