This is the big news for today. Greenland hits its 40 below birthday. Canada is boring with a little A6 attacking Toronto. Not that cold.
A higher Pacific plume is trying to sneak in and form a true clipper.
All the fun is in Europe, which has a major A8 spill going on. The residual Atlantic plume looks about to give up and run away. I can't imagine the snow.
Europe is spilling every speck of cold air, leaving none for us. However, the fully spread A6 spill looks magnificent right here. Combed winds to the top.
Still, we are nothing compared to Europe. Have fun people! Don't use up all your natgas in November, plenty more cold where that came from. To translate to Influencer-Speak, you've got the Polar Vortex Fairies all riled up and they hate you.
ps and even leftywingy Quebec is going rational. Wow.
ps OMG, just tried to walk the dog in this thing. Got a few houses up and turned back. This will be knocked up to A7 because of the very long tail behind it, giving it much more energy than the lobate front would indicate.
