Pigs Can Fly (In a Tyrant's dream)

 

'Brights' like muskie, have incredible cross-connections in the brain, and are only good until 40, when those connections start causing trouble.  History is full of these people becoming alcoholics, and then blowing out their brains.  That's for poets, tyrants keep going forever, living on past glories.  

A self-medicating tyrant thinks he still has the brains, and starts handing down ridiculous orders that defy reality (physics).  Invade that country.  Make diesel engines clean.  Do it or I'll kill you.  The engineers or soldiers end up faking the effort.

We had Dieselgate, and now we have Stargate.  When an engineer designs something, they can stay well within physics, at 20 or 30% of capacity, or they can dance on the edge of chaos, where things become unstable.  We saw that with the boeingmax.  These are all examples of tyrant commands to engineering.

With buildings in Toronto, 'design-build' is going to the extreme in tyrant engineering.  Neat.

Spacetyrant hasn't lifted an ounce of load, and it is well over the 'Chaos Line'.  I'm sure there is a lot of screaming.  We have an interesting future.

Tropical plumes aren't tropical any more

 

In our former world, we would be happy to see the plumes hitting us again.  Not this day.  

These are freezing plumes, the like of which I have never seen.  (I say that a lot, now).  

Instead of blowing away our cold blob, it embraces it.

Europe is getting a good 'Plume of Ice'.  

Anyway, don't believe anything I say, just stick your head out the door.  In Toronto, we'll get more rain, and then, clear cold.  It's our pattern for June.  On the evening dog walk, the air was so stuffy and stagnant, but for a few minutes later, sitting outside, it was wonderful for 30 minutes before the cold came in.  We must enjoy, and only remember, these fleeting good times.

Pea virus in my garden is a random event

The pea mosaic virus is horrible, and may have destroyed my crop.  I got a response from Vesey's, from whom I purchased the seeds.

 It's simple that if there are no other reports, then I'm the unfortunate winner of the virus lottery, at one in a million.  As a movie once said, one in a million isn't that rare.

The Corruption Cycle - Part 1

 We will always have corruption, just like 'the poor will always be with us'.  That's because both are defined as a percentile of general conditions.  It's something like 10%.  

In the good old days, corruption was taking flowers from a visiting dignitary.  Nixon only planned an information-gathering party.  Now look at us.

If we start from the squeaky-clean 50's, corruption was well-hidden, and confined to Chicago.  I also define something called Intellectual Corruption, which was close to zero in those days.  Corruption itself is defined as gaining a short-term advantage to other's detriment in the long term.  

I have said that top-level corruption of the wine, women and song variety (wws) has prevented nuclear war.  All the old guys do not want to give up under-aged girls.  That eppie guy was just a party planner.  Would they stand out in the crowd now?  Even if we finally get the famous trumpy tapes from Moscow, who cares?

Dullsville in weather today

 

We are actually getting a speck of Pacific air today.  It is expected that the Gulf air will move up again, giving Toronto lots of rain.

The Arctic is slowly warming, and Greenland refuses to melt.

ps However, we have influencer hope for warmer weather.

I just laugh at Trump corruption.  Only a million for a corrupt sheriff.

State of the oceans - May 26, 2025 -- All ocean temperatures are diving

 We did have a few curves going up, but that's all over now.  I'm writing this because it is now raining in Toronto, when it should have been sunny.  Another cold blob is coming down the chute.

The equatorial belts are really cold, since their 'average' is from the cold era of the 70's.  You can see the severe turbulence of cold.

The turbulence is taking up all the energy of the ocean currents, so that there are no currents feeding the far west.  Who knows what that means?  

The Nino Band is going straight down.  There is no heat energy in the Pacific.  There is a cyclic mechanism here, but now it is at the bottom.

We can expect a 70's June.  Lots of rain and cold as the Arctic drains.  In July we should have pure static heat.  Canada is back to '2 seasons, Winter and July'.  Do you really want that, trumpsy?

All the doomer stories have gone to all cities flooding due to the melting ice.  Perhaps you can get a good deal on ocean-front property?

All Artint money now comes from gaming

 I'm tired of writing 'AI'.  It alway looks like Al to me.  Can you tell the difference?  So now, it's artint.

In the old days, all new technology was adopted first by porn and then gaming.  Now, porn is dead, because you can make your own movies with the stars.  Who needs those third-rate actors any more?

So, no money from porn.  That leaves gaming.

MS raked in the money by buying out all games through new graphics board drivers.  The board competition was intense, with everybody buying the latest.  All hope at security was lost as 'features over security' won out.  All the top executives of Canadian companies want the latest computers for their kids to run games.  The only companies and hospitals not in the news for being hacked, don't know about it.

Now, this comes to an end.  All the competition money is going into gaming artint computers.  Instead of the greatest graphics board, you can kill all those nasty people in the game with artint taking care of your shooting.  The 'people' against you are all artint, too.  Why bother even playing?

This mirrors the 'supersoaker' days with the kids bringing in nuclear firetrucks to blow everybody down the street.

Obviously, this is the end of gaming.  All those videos for glory are artint.  Who cares?  All those programmers at MS are being fired.  A brave new world.

ps the great experiment of Google games failed because nobody could cheat.  No hacking the pc, no super graphics cards, none of that.  Down the tubes!  However, artint can now cheat even with the googs server model.  Shoot 10x faster, notice enemies 10x sooner.  See what happens to gaming.  I am predicting that MS has come to the end of its corruption cycle, selling stupid stuff to stupid people.  Maybe not, I always underestimate stupidity.  And I always think that artint's future is in augmenting people, so games are the future, maybe.

Yeah, two days of sunshine

 We have the 'Year of No Pacific Air'.  That means all our nice clear weather is straight from the Arctic.

The good news is that those cold blobs are warming up a little.

Let's just forget sad Europe.  

Signs of climate change are both dry and wet in Australia

 

I love this.  When there is heat in the Pacific belt, then oz is dry with a lot of fires.  This is clange.

When there is no warmth in the Pacific, like right now, it is cold and wet, with lots of flooding.  This is clange.

I was worried there wouldn't be any great stupidities today.  Yeah!

ps I also like this.  Warmth isn't scary enough now.

This scare, like clange, is all due to a math error by English Majors.

Pea mosaic virus

 

Anyway, once I saw this article, I ripped them out so fast that I didn't take a picture of mine, but it was the same.  Kept thinking it was fireworms or something.  We also planted some peas out of the main garden, in veggie-virgin soil, and it was the same.  Looks like maybe one in a hundred planting peas had it.  I notified the supplier, but you know how these things go.

If you notice it in Canada, rip it out before it spreads to all the peas.  Then, don't plant peas at that spot for a few years.

All cold channels activated

 

Cold is the absence of heat energy.  However, the Sun is doing its best to slowly warm up the North.  The warm air expands and it all comes down on us, down the channels that we saw at the beginning of winter.  

Another cold blob is barreling down the chute to whack us.  If we want sun, we get the cold.  If this is too depressing for you, just flip over to the warmie news.

ps  sad, the warmie news has given up on warmth, just the usual projections based on last year.

ps  people ranting about the weather on the dog walk today.  All these people will just have to remain clueless.  Can't afford physics any more.

Trump Orgy of Corruption

 

And at the dinner he held up a menu of things you can buy - pardon, elimination of competition, etc.

Just imagine that I did some work and changed the menu items...

ps I especially enjoy that the corruption is spreading like unvaxxed measles.

Nvidia - one minute complaining about Trump, the next praising him.  And going evil.

Also the tikytok challenges have gone quite violent, with the latest 'Murder an old lady' challenge, or blowing up your chromebook, whatever.

Crap weather continues

 

I was not going to do the weather today, but then I've been seeing a lot of stuff from the Influence Weather People that 'any day now' it will be warm.  They are basing that on a wing and a prayer, and it gets good press.

So I thought I would do the 'Abandon All Hope' thing for my 3 readers.  They are gluttons for punishment.  Both Europe and Eastern NA have carved a channel for Arctic drainage.  

We were in this mode for a while earlier this winter before the mega-blobs came down.  It is interesting that they have already rewritten history that it was a warm winter.  Anyway, drainage channels of cold are carved by chilling the ground and water down the channel.  It sets up and it is easier to send down dense cold air along the same path again and again.

The Arctic has to drain and we are in the way.  Normally, we would get Pacific air to reset the channels, but 'Not Happening'.  Europe is getting an Atlantic plume, but I don't think it will wipe the slate clean -- not enough heat energy.  It will just bring cold rain.

As with 1973, and now, 1967, we will get a horrible June.  My peas in the garden love it.  In fact, I find it amazing that all the plants are very happy with no sun, and infinite rain.  An English Spring.

ps can't wait to plant gene-edited tomatoes.  I have some natural San Marzano tomatoes that have mutated to be monsters.  I'll need better support, and I have faith that July and August will be super-hot, bringing joy to all the little warmies.

ps and in news today, tikytok viewership has gone down to zero, as they embraced the hot viral trend of taping both mouth and nose.

An excellent read

An excellent read for the evening.  I am amazed that I'm too old to go through it in one go.  However, a nice read without Influencer Push is very rare.  It talks about the rise of the modern human (modern sapiens) and the leftover stringers that were killed off late in the game.  

ps I am amazed that our major spurt to dominance was 'puppy juvenilzation'.  That's the breeding path of the dog.

I saw this article, and 'wait a second'.  Abilene is on the edge of the new Texas earthquake zones.  And it will consume more oil than Trump's plane.

I just love the irony.  Eat more oil, destroy the house.  Can't wait.  These things are getting bigger and bigger, and making the Oklahoma series look tame.  Next is an M6, which is any day now.  Then they join for an M8.  If you frack, you must inject.

Clange out, plastics in, AI getting there

 

I was going to do a thing about what makes a good doomer story to make money for the media.  However, the main thing is that none of their dooms ever come true.  That's because it is just too hooked in to power and money.  

This past decade has show that there are no more good low-ranked bureaucratic jobs any more.  Nothing to do with AI, but general productivity.  It used to be that any university grad could get a good paying job right from the getgo.  No more.  That bar moves up at a steady rate, and AI will not make it rise faster because of 'garbage in garbage out'.  All the AI's just go with the groupthink, because that's how they are trained.  Any company that goes with this deserves to die.

There are tremendous forces against productivity improvements, mainly stupidity.  A few 'Brights' can raise their companies, but this never goes for the masses.  The introduction of windows and email was a devastating blow to intelligence.  AI will be the same.  As I have said, the only way to make money is to sell stupid stuff to stupid people.  

Korean guy acting more like Trump every day

 

He is on the road to becoming a Trump.  Fire everybody competent, and then threaten everybody.  Stop compentent replacements coming, so you can fire more.

Randomly focus on things, so that everybody becomes afraid.  Reduce the economy to nothing, so you can make more personal money, and have wine, women, and song in your palace.

We'll probably have Putin acting like Trump soon.

ps Trump now carries the definition.  Hilter is old news, he was forced to kill because the concentration camps were too expensive to feed, and nobody in the world would take them.  Trump just sends everybody to concentration camps in the third world, where all sorts of abuse is cheap.

ps we now have the term "Soup Trumpy"  No soup for you, as well, we frog march you to a jungle prison.

ps I think that randomly casting thunderbolts on every day things, is the best way to destroy the whole economy.  Like wanting a 401 tunnel, holding up housing prices, etc.  However, until they cause total destruction, they are not up to being called a Trump.

Draining out the Arctic

 

We are doing our duty to the world by draining out all the cold.  Some weak Atlantic warmth is scooting up by the mountains to replace the cold air we in Toronto are getting.  So nice of us.

Europe is copying us.  The Atlantic plumes are so weak they are smashing against the rocks of cold.

Normally, we would have sweeping Pacific air, but that is a deflated balloon.  And the Atlantic can't help Europe.  I intend to be even less read, by stating full out that we are going into a major ice cycle early.  It's just that I can't see anything worse with both oceans going cold.  

The small ice cycle of 20 years must have an instabillity to have the warmth come back.  But we don't have any geophyics to detect this glimmer of hope.  It won't matter to me if it is 20 years or 300.  ha ha.

Windmills and solar cells won't be any good, covered in ice.

State of the Oceans - May 22, 2025

 I'm only doing this because of the strange things in the Pacific.

This is the total stop of current in the west Pacific.

I've never seen that, although not important to anyone else, I think it's unusual.

This is the standard pattern of heavy sargassum weed on the Mexican coast.  Always correlates with a clean flow from the Atlantic belt.

As for temperatures, everything is low, so I'm not even showing it.  

NOAA predicts active hurricane season with no heat energy

 

This is fun, but nobody remembers previous nooa predictions.  They predicted the past winter would be warmer than the warm one before, but is there a prediction when it falls in the woods?  For the summer before, they had a a very broad prediction and the actual number of hurricanes barely hit the bottom of their band.  Of course, this was 'right on the money'.  Like I always say, you can't argue with that.

Right now, there is almost no heat energy in the Atlantic belt, so I predict almost no hurricanes.  However, really cold blobs from the Arctic could provide the necessary difference in  temperature.  Cold hurricanes would be an amazing thing.  They would spin clockwise (maybe).

When all of Greenland ice melts, this will be worth a fortune

 

Here's where somebody could use a bit of physics.  Maybe they didn't pay much.  With Influencer Science, all the ice is gone, and all the coastal cities drowned.   That's fine, I won't argue with that.

All Pacific Plume action has stopped

 

We now live without a speck of Pacific heat coming over us.  This doesn't matter to the influencers, because they don't know about the Pacific Ocean.

Rain, rain, rain.  The only consolation is that Europe is worse.  But we are so deep in the Hole of Ignorance, that you will never read about this.  Time for more inside work, no cottage.
