I am proposing we crawl hat-in-hand to Googs, and have an Artie-assisted discussion group to rival the nasties, and be head-over-heels better than the old g+.
The main thing is to have 'sticky' identities, and automated moderators. The anonymous thing doesn't work for Canadian Values (cv).
The first discussion would be 'what the heck are cv?' You have to separate cv from the usual political posturing.
The arties would control the main cv branch, and throw other comments to garbage pits, which could still be viewed. I would want a 'critical thinking' blurb on every post. For example 'Alberta outta here', would have questions such as 'what would you do?', 'Is there an economy?' etc.
Having arties stops human moderators from going insane. I've never seen a moderated group last longer than a few months. Myself, I only have brains for this 2 hours a day. The arties could be trained to be better. Googs would love this!

Hello real person, My blog Ontario Geofish is deliberately contentious, but I would like to be polite on Gander. I want a section on pure Scientific Method, with no myth, consensus, or 'feelings'. However, social media is dumpster fire because of anonymity and dog piles. The real controversy is why we are getting colder, which is of great importance to Canadians. I've been kicked off places like Mastodon, for showing the weather maps, but I do have a core following. Perhaps I shouldn't sign up?
We had 'Neighbours', but it's all ads now, and cleaning ladies. I wrote my famous 'Roof Physics' there. All of these things have problems. You have a 'wild west' with no real names, but then it gets infected. Googs+ was great, but nobody read it. You can have moderation, like mastodon, but these people become power-mad trumpies, and all discussion is dampened.
Every single discussion group I've been on, has descended to chaos. Is it me? Anyway, I like the blog format with my 3 readers. I can't imagine pushing the Scientific Method, when nobody understands it. It's sad.
I don't think life is happy for a moderator. So much junk. Could you throw garbage into a public 'junk pile'? Then you wouldn't have such responsibility. Two versions - Polite and Not Polite. Positive and Negative. Would people just want to read the bad stuff? Constructive and Destructive.

That means horribly hot summers and ridiculous winters. The fun thing is that nobody will know what is happening because physics is outlawed by the lefties.

Just after our little heat wave has been declared 'absolute proof of clange', the Arctic air breaks through again.
The cold air is so sludgy that it is having a tough time.
This is funny. I finally decided to put on my reading glasses to look at this plot. My usual degree of effort in all this precludes me from finding them, and picking them up. However, I have noted that they actually block out the 'megacity' of the East Coast, and it is not a temperature thing. I think it's a recent thing, but I wouldn't know.

That timing speaks to a broader trend, connected to human-caused climate change, in which summerlike weather is creeping earlier into June and lingering deeper into September
Hot summer of the 70's is really last week in June, to the middle of August. During the peak of the warm cycle we had warmth in May to the end of October. I love how they just come up with things. I'm going to miss this complete distortion. That's why nobody reads anything any more.
Where will they be when the cold winter comes? Regardless, the snow costs will double, and our heating bills will zoom. It's all clange.
They should push that it is hotter because the nasty lefties eliminated all our nice SO2 and nox pollution from coal plants. That put out a nice fug that kept us cooler in summer. Without that, we are going to fry, a fine prelude to the clange to come.
We continue to live with changing definitions. There is no warmie way to define it is getting 'hotter'. They are using the city peaks on their corrupted chart, but even that is changing on them. They will have to find something new, like these very small and local heat waves.

The reason that they are sad is that if they don't use Artie, they will fail. Sad. General arts university was always summer camp. In the US, they use ivy league schools to perpetuate the elite. They all became climate scientists. Nobody wants to pay for that crap now.

General arts students will continue to drift in their 20's until they find something to do, other than baristas. Central Artie will go away, as we go to distributed Artie, which makes my pictures better. Mass tourism will die. Clange will just slink under the rock it came from.
Housing in Canada will finally stop being propped up and go the way of Japan. Remote work will die. All very slowly, like watching paint dry.
So, as usual, there are good things with the bad things. The doomers are always 100% wrong, so I have hope for a better tomorrow. At least for me. I'll have a 'do the shit' robot instead of young people.

It starts with having stagnant, clear air. In the 70's we had huge coal power plants to spread a fine funk over us. Not now.

I got this for the cottage where I have drains that regularly clog. I went to half force and it sounded like a gun shot that got everybody screaming. It is an air gun for drains.
Now, I've used a lot of air guns in the old geophysics business. We got excellent images in Lake Ontario that showed how high the seismic hazard is here. All forgotten now. The air gun compresses air and blows it with a high-speed valve. It is an explosion.
Also, this would produce a neat air vortex for science class. Probably can blow out a candle at 50 feet. Get it before it is banned by lefties.

My tomatoes are magnificent, and the broccolis are trees. I got a cheap Chinese water timer so the water bill doesn't exceed the air conditioning bill. My soaker hose system is working great, and I'm going 4 hours at night.

I'm only taking cannabis for severe muscle injury, flu, and covid. It stops the pain and clears you up. For general health, I find my Aronia Berry tea is better, a vital nutrient to the gut, brings clear thinking, and cuts inflamation.
If you are a crack and alcohol addict, like some people we won't mention, you'll live to 45. That's constantly soaking yourself in the worst poison that doesn't kill you instantly. If you are a heavy smoker, then 65. Living with a smoker is 70, along with heavy drinking. Overweight is 75. These are the major things, and all the doomer stories are phoney, designed only to make these guys money.
As well, heavy cannabis smokers go to the heavy smoker zone. You can enjoy everything in moderation, and live to your genetic limit. From family history, mine is maybe 85, but I have an older brother and sister who can test that 'death ceiling' for me. Then I'm good for whatever gets them at 105.
ps Geez, it's hot. I just got some zero alcohol Sapporo beer from Costco. That's a good substitute for my usual stuff, and allows me to walk straight.
I don't really see it, but the forecast has it coming down. You can see we in Toronto are in a puddle of heat that makes the news. Everybody else is cold. That's the trouble with no heat energy.

The Gulf of Maine is our best thermometer for North America. Why is it going down when we are so hot? It's because of exactly what I predicted. No ocean heat energy leaves us stewing in our own juices for a short 2 month summer. Even the cbc worries about this.
Finally, the most important band in the world is spiking up and down, but a far cry from the good old carbon warming days.
You can see that the source of heat for the world, the east Pacific, is getting the life squeezed out of it by the Great Double Pincer of Cold. We don't have any sat data for the last time this happened, so we can close our eyes and sleep as our temperature plane dives because the engines have conked out.

If I was going to give the cbc the finger, it would be in the extrapolation of basic physics. No heat energy means we are going down, down, down. All cities should double their snow clearing budget.

No Pacific air, and a constant stagnant battle between Arctic and Gulf air. When it is super hot at the cottage, like 30-40 years ago, all you can do is go out at night, down the Mosquito Path, and soak in the lake until you are a cold slab. Then try to fall asleep before you warm up. Good when I was young, not so great now.

However, they have great language on how high it still is. It's like all engines stop on your plane, and the people enthuse about how high they still are. Are you kidding?

This is exciting. The North Pacific current is going again, but not giving us heat. It is diving early, and bringing down a tremendous amount of cold water to hit the Pacific Belt. That adds to the Antarctic water, for a pincer movement. Again, I take this as a mechanism for the Major Ice Cycle, rather than the standard decade cold cycle.

At the cottage yesterday, it was pure stagnant air. I remembered my youth. Without any cannabis, I was stoned on the deck looking at the all the leaves for any sign of fluttering. I went into an alternate state -- Is that a breeze? It was such an effort to get the hot air in and out of my lungs. And the water is still too cold.
Ok, fine, FACO, Fish always chickens out, on the giving up thing. However, I haven't seen a single thing worth writing about. No inspiration. So hot here, that I am waiting for the huge storms on the radar. Every single one has missed Toronto, but it looks like a hit here.

We shall start with the world sea temperatures. Only an Influencer could say it is warm.
Again, the chart that was once a 'solid Influencer truth' is way down.
The Atlantic polar zone temp is interesting, because it has been high, and giving the UK the 'warmest Spring ever'. It has gone down, and they will have the 'warmest summer ever'. Bring a warm sweater to the beach. We have had a classic physics result to the Pacific Heat Engine shutting down, and the other oceans cooling in sequence. This polar zone is the last. The coffee in the cup is cold.
This is the little Atlantic zone, and it still means no hurricanes. Hurricanes or no hurricanes, all proof of clange.
The Gulf of Maine is not feeling the summer, small wonder with endless cold blobs. Good for mussels and kelp.
Finally, the most important indicator for global heat energy, the Nino Zone, shows nothing. In short, as soon as the Arctic cold air drains out, we will have our stagnant summer, of super-hot days and cool evenings, just like Death Valley. Excellent proof of clange. Look for a very short summer, and snow in October. Every year will be worse, and I hope those snow-clearing budgets are increasing.
The Pacific Ocean current may be growing again, and I hope this shows we have just a 20-year cold spell, and not the 300 major ice cycle. With the North Atlantic going cold, it could mean the northern Greenland islands get socked in with ice, which is our first indicator of the major ice cycle.
