The cold keeps coming

The cold is coming down slower than molasses in November.  It looks like it is finally going to lunge.

This is fun, I've never seen it so clear.  This is a sign of the 300 year drought.

It's only 30 below, should be 40 soon.

The anomaly plot tells us we're back into our 70-90's chill.

The Europe stream has broken up.  The Giant Arctic Clockwise Vortex continues to pour down on us.

This shows that the Blue Blob of Cold is deciding to take a lunge at the end of their forecast range.  I don't know what was making it so slow, but it will be a full A9 going down to the Caribbean.

Pity us in Toronto, that might be a whole inch of snow that will melt in a few hours.

ps maybe 2 inches

NOAA pulls out a plum

They are proud of themselves, which is great.  They don't mention how they predicted a heavy hurricane season because of climate change.  I looked at the temperature of the Atlantic hurricane zone, and said 'nothing'.

Hurricanes are creatures of physics.  They need hot water, and cold air to form the huge vortexes.  No heat energy was available this year, in the Atlantic or anywhere.  However, fantasy can do anything.  When you go outside today and freeze your nose, remember that this is caused by the tremendous clange temperatures in the stratosphere, which is at near-vacuum.

They are also predicting the hottest year in 2026.  How are they going to measure that without physics?  Expect it to be measured by stories in the media of one-day heat waves here and there.  That always works.

ps for those who haven't lived on this planet for a while: "Little Jack Horner / Sat in a corner, / Eating a Christmas pie. / He put in his thumb, / And pulled out a plum, / And said, 'What a good boy am I!'".

Super Hyped Solar Flares Actually Did Something

You might remember the intense hype a while ago.  Turns out the flares hit the airplanes, although nobody specifically mentions it for some reason.  It's all 'solar radiation', as if the internal computers got a sun burn.  Very weird, call a spade a spade.

ps finally, somebody talks about it.

Even Steven to NA and Europe

It's the about the same as yesterday.  The Blue Army continues to march down to us.

It's so clear for NA that you can't see any internal structure.  You can see more with Europe.

However, nice snow in the US mid-west, and Europe.

We have a full split between NA and Europe flow.

This is so slow it's like watching grass freeze.  However, a neat breakout from the US Rockies.  It's like continental glaciation.  No sign of this in the 7-day forecast.

ps Yeah, the 7-day forecast is starting to go way down, even at 3 days.  They are always wrong on these things.

and purge of the left-wing loonies.  I could say something like 'Left-wing Loonies are always wrong", and they would hit back that they are right one in a million.  Who can ague against them?

No stopping US natgas today

Wow, every time I look it's up another notch.  Can't wait until Phase II of our cold.

ps closes at 4.85

Arctic Vortex Goes Clockwise

This is like a big ready-mix concrete truck.  It turns one way to mix, and then turns the other way to pour out the glop.

Like I said, Florida is getting tickled down to its toes.  But that's just #1 spill, the real one is still hidden.

I love "Canada's Revenge".  We don't buy their stinkin' oranges anyway.

There it is.  The two mixing vortexes have combined to a giant 'Dumping Gyre'.  Look out Europe, here it comes, just like last time.  The bottom will continue to dump on us, and the top is all yours.

Finally, we get the 'Bleeding Blue Blob' coming down on us.  This is the hidden A9, backed up to Siberia.  The weather forecast for Toronto doesn't have it yet.

As this thing comes down to freeze your nose, you can think warmie thoughts, that this is the warmest winter ever.

ps Carney gets it, but I wish he would put a bit of money into physics.  We're hated by trumpy, might as well be hated by the warmies.

ps and BC goes all-out to destroy their economy, and maybe ours.

I love these guys!

And the UK turning into Canada is a clange thing.

Woke Alert - Internet chat pushes mental case over the edge

This is neat.  Caught between BC and Quebec, can we lift our economy?  These people just want to destroy it.  We're going to need Arties to mine those toxic rare earths.  The ultra Liberal leftie quit over oil pipelines.  These people are fine in their mud huts, but it's the media that wants to pay attention to them.  They always take a million to one thing, and run with it, to destroy wealth.  Did the ndp ever do anything for wealth?  In Ontario I think they destroyed half the gdp.

The rest of us should just treat them like lettuce from the US.

Lefties have to realize we need money to be all sunshine and roses.  Bye for now.

ps sorry to all lefties.  Really what is a little girl's face who launched a thousand windmills, compared to a guy who wants to refurb a nuclear plant with giant roller rink under it?

Natural gas starts the hypothesis

The US natgas hypothesis, created by me, and only me, and me alone, is that they will be slurping the straws before long.  However, we don't really know things like the pressure and flow drop, as it gets emptier, etc.

The spot price is up as people try to bake their turkeys.

Of interest to the hypothesis, is that they are lower in storage than last year.  As I have mentioned, nobody can see the Cold Express Train hidden in this little bit of cold that they are making such a rumble about.  When the hidden A9 hits, then everybody can just freeze the turkey outside.

The storage has crossed last year's line, but nobody can see that.  It will soon cross the average line, and that will be something.  The spot price should zoom, as everybody wants to stay warm.  I don't see how trumpy can stop this inflation.

Greenland goes white in November

This is big news for me.  That means 50 below.  At least the big spill coming down on us is only -30C.

The big news is the spill hiding within the spill.  As they say on the tracks, one train can hide the approach of another.

I had to split the winds into two this morning.  The double vortex is still pouring down the full Arctic spill.  The last one was a single vortex splitting the upper flow to Europe, and the lower flow to us.  Europe still hasn't recovered from that one.

You can see it coming down here.  The energy rating of the spill depends a lot on how it is backed up.  This one has backup to the wazoo.  What we have now is just the little 'fore-spill' as in a warning foreshock earthquake.

Pickering B refurb to go ahead

Mixed feelings on this, as I worked on it heavily at one time, in the distant past, which I don't remember.  I think they are fixing the intake, which was the most dangerous thing in the event of the 1 in 10000 earthquake.  A nuclear plant should have no release of nuclear material at the 1 in 10 million odds, per year.  If they are putting in an underground intake, then they read my stuff.

I found that the standard earthquake caused a huge release in my famous earthquake scenario, which nobody read, or cared about.  The lefty loonies are against everything, and there is no 'neutral' body that cares about these things.  The government bodies are under horrendous pressure.  The press is horrible, bankrupt, and hobbled by having no information.  The company sits comfortably on their rears and just pumps out garbage.

This is all wonderful, and completely normal for any country.  Look at Japan!  We can conclude that their problems were at 1 in 500, the return period of the big earthquake.  Nobody cares about the 1 in 10,000 odds, let alone even more remote.

So, let's assume they are putting in an underground intake.  Yeah!  That only leaves my one tiny little thing about their foundation.  They won't check it, so no problems exist by definition.  It's a remote hypothesis, at 1 in 1000 of being correct.  All could be proven by a 2-bit drilling (actually only one bit).  They should have a lottery for checking one thing extra, and I know what I would pick, but I never buy lottery tickets.  Someone else might care about clean floors, and they would win.

Please remember this is like Ozempic, with side effects.  The alternative to not taking it, is dying early, so a little warped face isn't bad.  With nuclear, the baby reactors aren't going to do much, and running out of power in an ice age isn't sweet.  Ask Europe, where the natgas price has gone down because they rejoice that they will once again be dependent on a New Russia again.

Heavy A9 Arctic spill continues

This is now pure A9 in terms of energy and impact.  It will make the last one look like cream cheese.

Our weird vortexes have caused one to go clockwise.  This is not the natural heat engine direction and only comes from extreme force.  This causes a double-barrel vortex injection of cold air.  This is what happened to Europe.  Note that Europe is still living with chaos in the Arctic and can look upon us with horror, knowing what is coming next.  Spain Guy still has time to buy Long Johns.

You can see the temperature video going solid blue but only reaches Manitoba by the end of the forecast model.  They always underestimate these things because they don't use physics.  Remember how they screwed up the snow forecast for Montreal?  Expect more of the same.

None of the media are mentioning their famous Stratosphere Forecast, and this monster will miss the US Thanksgiving.  However, they seem to be making a big hoot about a little bit of snow, not leaving enough room at the top for this one.

An effective mouse trap

Build an effective mouse trap and they will beat a path to your door.  But not in Canada.  The vegan leftwingers have stopped all effective means to kill your Toronto rats, and mice as big as rats.  They force you to buy 'bait boxes', which no self-respecting Toronto rat will touch.  This forces you to go to the rat-killer monopoly.

Link

I'm not going to make it easy for Healthy Can to see this.  The little rod just magically kills the rats instantly, painlessly, with no million to one danger to the cat.  I haven't caught anything yet, because I'm competing with my possum, but he wouldn't be stupid enough to fool with this.  Neither would my dog.

In the back, I would put this under a milk crate.  This works because it gets the rats scurrying around, and has no dark openings or bait they've seen a million times.  It has good physics, and no rat can train for it.

Buy this before the nut cases ban it.  The seller is very friendly and will box several at a time.  He uses extra care in shipping.

ps  Yeah, starting to reel in those giant rat-mice that just lick the peanut butter from the old traps.  Might as well toss those out.

All Arctic spill phasers on Canada

We open with the video.  The two vortexes have combined in a weird way, almost anatomically correct.  You can see a triangle pointed at us.  This is like both barrels firing.

This will be the case of an A5 piled on from behind, becoming an A7.

For the first time this winter we have 'broken the anomaly'.  Europe is already there.  The base for the anomaly is from the 90's, so it is cold.

ps whoops, just broken the last week or two.  The giant A8 and A10 cleared the anomaly.

ps  I admire these guys for trying to keep fantasy and reality dancing together.  They aren't saying that the warmth will come back in January.  If we have super-cold full winters, does the warmie tree fall in the woods?

ps okay, this is just like the A10 for Europe a while ago.  I'm now calling an A9 (all together) for Canada, and the warmies can blame it on the stratosphere.  There is an A9 arc hidden with the existing flow.  You can barely see it.  Lots of snow for us.  Stay off the 401 during the worst.

Squint your eyes and look at it sideways.  Arctic spills are real.

This is a real Arctic spill alert.  Should I be fooling around, I would laugh.

Arctic continues to throw down A5 action

We continue the cold leakage of minor spills, while the vortex ice machine quietly builds up an inventory of cold syrup.

You can see the drifting.  The spills are very weak but they can shove the warm Gulf air around.  We expect in Toronto lots of snow flurries and freezing at night, for the next week.

Poor Europe.  At the latitude of Newfoundland, they never appreciated their warmth from Atlantic plumes.  Now they will have a fine Canadian winter.

No comment on this map.

The Arctic picture hasn't changed for a week.  The Arctic Vortex churning away, and filling the basin.  Warm air comes in and is turned to dense cold air.  The vortex continues to rise until the tip bucket is activated.  Such fun.

ps forecast for stratospheric storm ends in a whimper.  No apologies coming out.  "While this cold blast is not the most dramatic of the season, it will be a big change from the short sleeve or sweater weather millions across the US have enjoyed heading into the holiday week.

Forecast of huge Arctic spill breaks all physics

Ok, when the other half gets the message of a huge cold outbreak in the next few days, I know that everybody thinks this.

Using all the sources of stratospheric warming, here is the info thing from Notebook lm.  I love grilling that guy about physics, and he gives me endless drivel about how quantum mechanics justifies the greenhouse effect.  I have to go around him, in order to get statements on how convection renders the radiation irrelevant.  It isn't easy.  A real warmie would catch on, call me an idiot, and storm out of the house.

I've decided it's more fun to go with the flow.  Look at that graphic.  The jet stream goes haywire.  You'll be frozen where you stand.  Everybody run!

ps reading how trumpypants is totally breaking down.  We have two big lies -- prices are down while people see that prices are up 60%.  And it is getting warmer, while people are freezing.  What is the bigger lie?

ps and the giant Arctic clockwise vortex is starting again.  Still should be more than a week for full blasts as the basin fills up.

The physics of men's underwear

There is a new mensch Canadian underwear being promoted heavily on the socials.  The ads seem to be designed to get the women to buy it for their men.

This is gay underwear.  It feels like pantyhose, not that I ever tried that during my teenage years.  I call it a sportsbra for men.  It's a stretchy material and feels like a hockey cup.

It has the amazing physics of feeling great for two days of use.  It totally stops 'baseball pitcher adjustments' which the women hate.  However, we have the physics of heat energy transfer.  Right now, this morning I feel cooked.  If you are trying to get the lady preggers, the biology says 'don't do this'.  You need Scottish Kilt Freedom at 30 below.  This underwear will be responsible for a huge drop in the Canadian birth rate.

So, when the lady gives you this at Christmas, saying how all the gay celebrities rave about it, smile politely, and stash it in the back of the drawer.  Nobody wants cooked jiggly bits.

**Ha, ha.  This is all satire.  Of course, buy the underwear, and make those guys rich.  Just look up the articles on 'Truck Driver Crotch'.

Arctic leakage gets heavier

Today's story, kids, is about the Arctic in full recharge, yet it is pissing out a lot of cold.

Lots of undefined cold air is coming down on us.  This will give us -5C in Toronto, and some lake snow.  The blob does not have a defined front, so I cannot classify it.

Europe has the exact chronic condition.

We check the temperature of the patient and we find a lot of black coming in.

The video shows the large Arctic vortex finally forming.  This would be quite different than my info graphic on a tropical vortex, if I could figure it out.  It has the amazing property of staying in the basin, and filling it up with dense, cold air.  A little while later, the dam breaks.

So, we have a week or two, before 'rinse and repeat' of the previous monster spills.  And as the Swiss say, this has nothing to do with the state of the stratosphere.

ps just as everybody else drops the 'stratosphere thing', CBC comes out with it.  The don't read the Swiss.

Banana Pro graphic of vortex

This is neat.  It's close to my vision of a double-vortex hurricane.  Condensation must be a part of the heat engine.  We could throw in a bunch of instrumented beach balls.  Anyway, this is about 80% done, and it hurts my brain to go further.  Eventually, the Artie can do the physics.

ps and I have reset the hits back to near zero.

ps for social media, I think that even an info-graphic is too much reading for these guys.  You would have to turn it into a 'fly-through' video, perhaps even a game.

No great weather disaster coming

Having totally missed the last two huge Arctic spills, the weather people thought they would make up one.  I had a snit because I thought they were reading me.  Turns out they don't read at all.

I spent the last few days researching with NotebookLM on what they were thinking.  You can't use the Artie for physics because nobody writes about it, and they can't steal it.

Anyway, the big hoohaw has died.  The Swiss weather people destroyed it.  But back to reality.

The Arctic is in full recharge.  I had thought it could keep up a half-and-half thing of recharge with flow, but the European flow was so huge at an A10, that it completely drained.

However, the Arctic is 'weeping' sufficiently to keep everything cold after the big blasts.

We have several vortexes up there.  Once the basin fills again sufficiently, then we should get a single vortex.  I had failed to notice that the vortex just before the Europe A10 spill, it was actually a clockwise vortex.  Normally, these things are caused by boundary winds, but I think this may have been a real reverse mechanism.  I'll have to wait for it again.

I love the Swiss for going to physics as much as they can without total implosion.  They said something to the effect that it is unclear whether anything going on in the stratosphere (near outer space) can affect the troposphere (surface atmosphere).  Yeah!

Anyway, I can't really tell how long it takes the swimming pool to fill up again.  It would be nice to have the full 3D shebang, but it will never happen.

ps This is the big forecast, kept for eternity by me, because they will soon rewrite history, since it is a loser.

ps  I won't be doing another until something happens

Let go and don't predict the weather

That's my new motto.  I have now solved all my questions on this, and it remains only to convince the rest of the world, which I don't want to do.  There's no money in it.

I have a comprehensive model of exactly what we are facing, this winter and next 300.  But who cares?  Everybody is perfectly happy.  In the Spring, I will meet head-on the failure of my hypotheses, or laugh at everyone.

I have tried to quit many times, but now, with nothing to prove, and no intellectual challenge, I think I have a chance.  My 3 readers have been great, but it's time.  Honestly, I can't think of anything coming up in the next year that would get me going.  Perhaps if my giant tsunami thing rips.

ps and this is what will make me stay off the air.  They are using my predictions and spinning it in their fantasy to keep their jobs.  But they won't know when it hits, because I won't tell them.  Last year it was a 'blip' and this year it is 'rare'.  What about next year?

I am not going to take food from the mouths of their children.

The Arctic Vortex - Part 3

Now we get very weird.  The biggest process or mechanism with Earth Heat Transfer is the vortex.  Very difficult to measure, I have postulated mechanisms 10 times more efficient and complex than a simple bathtub drain vortex, which is the model in our collective heads.

Every time that heat transfer and convection gets wild, a vortex forms.  We think of convection as thick soup in a heated pot.  Mainly, lumps of warm air or water, rising to the top.  Hence, the talk of 'thermals' for airplane gliding.  But that is wrong.  The chaotic motion of a simple 'lump' convection quickly goes to a vortex, and once established, the vortex stays until there is no more energy.

The weather people 'pooh pooh' clear air vortexes, because they cannot see them.  Hence, the biggest mistake in their physics.  A hurricane is a monstrous 'double action' vortex.  Ocean current vortexes are the most important thing with the Pacific 'Heat and Release' mechanism.  The Pacific upper water temperature can only get to about 30C, before a huge vortex starts forming the ocean plumes.  Many other examples.

A totally new vortex for me is the Great Arctic Vortex.  Not to be confused with the fantasy Polar Vortex, which exists in near-vacuum, with high velocities, temperatures, and zero energy.  For the last two years, the AV has firmly established itself in the Arctic Ocean Basin, and controls our winter weather.

In a recharge cycle, the AV just spins.  It is amazing how it extracts heat and sends it off to outer space.  Then the very cold dense air acts as a liquid, and starts to fill the basin.  You can simulate that by filling a bucket with co2, and pouring it out on candles.

In this case, the basin fills up and pours out down spill channels.  The AV acts as a switch, and can pump out cold air to the UK from the top, or to Canada through the bottom.  Only two choices with this monster.  Before it got organized, we would get random spills all over the place, which nobody noticed.

For our Major Ice Cycle, history shows us that we can expect it to last 300 years, alternating the flows between NA and Europe.  If you prefer not to go with this, then read the media.

I can't wait for all the canals in Holland to freeze up, so they can invent ice skates again.  All sorts of  nice stories.  We have no history for NA, but the early explorers died of scurvy before they discovered the native pine tip tea.

The End.

ps the disclaimer once again.  These are all hypotheses, which can easily be tested.  If you test enough, it can be called a theory.  A good theory of the weather would allow accurate prediction years in advance.  Unfortunately, people prefer clumsy explanations after the fact.  Much more entertaining.

ps this has drained me out.  I am stopping for now, since my predictions are too grim even for me.  Europe can be happy thinking that it will be warm any minute now.  NA will never have another cold blast, since this was a blip.  Merry Christmas!

The Arctic Vortex - Part 2

We know from our engineering that convection is thousands of times more efficient than radiation, hence every cooler has forced air through fins.  However, it is completely ignored in the groupthink.  Nasa had a huge study of clear-air convection in the 70's and then all that died when the Scientific Method and direct measurements interfered with Grand Declarations for money.  Everybody jumped on the bandwagon of "Selling Stupid Stuff to Stupid People'.

Clear air convection is so efficient that the Earth should be a frozen desert like Mars.  But, we can keep a tremendous amount of water.  Water keeps in the heat, so we have always had a hybrid system of cold, dry poles, and a wet equator.  Water acts as an insulator, not by a greenhouse effect, but by wet-air convection with condensation and rain.  The heat energy goes up and down, and never escapes.

The Earth would be very stratified with a bands of very hot and very cold if not for ocean currents.  We know that in a computer and the car engine, that water transfers heat efficiently to the convection coolers.  We have that on the earth.  The more distributed the water channels, the cooler the earth gets.  Plate tectonics mucks that up.  When the continents are all schmooshed together we have no water cooling, and things get hot enough for dinosaurs.  Also, 'continental baking' of the subduction zones release huge amounts of water vapour and carbon dioxide.  We are going with the fact that co2 is nothing to water.

For now, we are concentrating on our nice dry poles, where almost all the earth's heat energy gets shoved out to space, in an efficient mechanism that could easily be measured, if that wasn't going to totally destroy the money-making groupthink.

-- to be continued

The Arctic Vortex - Part 1

Disclaimer - This blog uses the Scientific Method, and basic physics.  It makes no attempt on popular opinion, which is dominated by fantasy.  It is just a peripheral interest for a few people in the world.

The Earth has had a mechanism to lose heat for billion of years.  We know this because we are going back to 3.3 billion years in seeing the product of life.  That means any of us could have walked shirt-sleeve on parts of the planet when it was showing massive meteorite hits and volcanism.  All the seas did not boil, and proteins were not baked on land, as the warmies would paint the future.

We owe all this to the marvellous physics properties of water and the atmosphere.  With the Earth still cooling, we had to get rid of heat energy at a rate 10 or 1000 times greater than now.  This was done through clear-air convection, which brings heat energy up to the near-vacuum stratosphere, and then dumps the heat with infrared radiation, like a standard chocolate double-boiler.  Otherwise life would not have survived since the atmosphere had its now-oxygen component taken over by methane and carbon dioxide.  We still had our nitrogen component, you can't get rid of that stuff.

Our warmie brothers ignore all this, and like to make up new mechanisms happening right now because of oil companies.  If people believe them, then they are right by the definition of groupthink.

-too be continued

Europe Arctic spill stays strong

The Big Arctic Vortex has become small, but the flow continues over Europe.  That's good for us in NA.  Thus the Arctic is in it's semi-recharge.

Look at that!  From here, I can see the frost on Spain Guy's beard.

The MIMIC is screwed up this morning.  Yesterday, I saw a powerful spill within the spill.  To see it means that the new one is 10 times worse.  I wouldn't laugh so hard if the euries weren't such leftie ninnies getting rid of all sources of heat.  Wait, wait!  I can suddenly cough up a tear.  Our turn next week.

ps yeah, Europe is going to be warmer and colder.  Covering all bases.
