Two days after starting her wild orientation activities at Mac, the daughter is sick in bed. She says it's just a bad cold (she just had one). I said that she should take her temperature, but no thermometers in the vicinity. I also said she should tell somebody, but they don't have any procedures in place. I think she's the sort of person who would just curl up, and not want to bother anybody.
I hope her roommate is a person of action. If it is pig flu, then everybody is going to get it anyway. I somehow suspect that the much-vaunted vaccine is going to be a tad late.
ps. Looks like it was just a bad cold!
