It's hilarious. This is the biggest single drop of sea level since Hilter invaded Russia. You can see on the chart that it was a walk in the park, la la, until he invaded. Then it became so cold, all his tanks froze. Has something like that happened today? Hmmm.
But ...
What is going on? Ah, the philosophers have been playing with semantics again. They have switched what used to be called 'local sea level', to just 'sea level'. The real sea level, they call 'absolute sea level'.
Then it gets all mucked up by the media. Buried deep inside nooa, they say 'absolute sea level' is only up or down 1 mm or so. You can see that on the upper chart. But 'sea level' is a beast.
Portland, Maine will soon be all under water! Quel terrible!
Sea level is rising and will kill everybody! All due to the melting ice in Greenland.
ps. the same fundamental cause is making natgas go ballistic.
pps. that headline from the commie-gard is from a place on top of the Cascadia Fault, which dropping like a rock, and coiling up to strike.
more: the sea level is at the very bottom of this hundred years or so. Should it drop further next month, then I'm moving south. :)
