Pacific plumes bring down a clipper for NA, Europe caught in a heat block

Weak Pacific plumes have drifted north, and are carving out Arctic air.

This will come down and it will be a Cold Day in July, for some of us.

France is experiencing what I generally thought would happen with weak plumes.  The Atlantic plume is bouncing off the hot stagnant air in a heat block.  They stew in their own juices, just like we did a while ago.

With the Arctic still a factor, we aren't getting as many heat waves as I thought.  Still, it's only July 1, Happy Canada Day!  And trumpy has diverted his righteous anger away from us.

ps and we change 'Global Warming' to 'Spotty Warming'

ps and now we canned the million cherries

It's true! I stood on the doorstep of my little farmhouse yesterday evening to smoke a cigarette. I was naked 'cos it was 40c and I almost stepped on a viper (escorço ibèric) which was also on the doorstep about 75mm from my left foot. Didn't even see it until it shot off. Must give up smoking!

I know, smoking can be bad for your health. Living can be bad for your health. Bothering the pretty snakies can be bad for your health.
