Cold air plumes to hit Europe

 

With the Pacific so weak, this was a big thing last winter and will be worse this year.  This cold air blob is coming right at Europe.  No snarky comments.

Right behind it is a plume so cold that it has a front into the first plume.  

This is all caused by the heat engines in the Pacific giving up the ghost.  Perhaps next year, when they trot out all the old excuses, the Cool Kids might get some push-back, perhaps not.

ps.  update -- the first has fizzled out against the hurricane plume, but the second is a dagger.
