The ri has not gone up since we came out of the seventies. The rise of Social Media has allowed everybody and their dog to try the 'pimple' gambit.
A low ri means we are all living on philisophical dreams. The titanic forces eventuallly come to crush us. Right now, we had a pandemic to trigger things, but we are going into huge inflation, basically caused by government spending. Yeah!
The central bankers will rise by crushing us with interest rates. fun, fun.
ps. every day I'm in the battle of rationality vs. philosophy. Philliness always wins because rationalists don't give a shit. Only when starting Death in the face, does rationality have a chance. Watch the movie 'The Rescue' as loner diving nerds battle social media. Had to be drawn down to the very last second. Most things don't end like that.
