NDP takes sharp turn to the left

I didn't think that was possible.  I mean, how much room is there on that shoulder?

I remember working at the old company when the ndp took power in Ontario.  Not just shelve, we had to throw out all my work on new nuclear sites.  I snuck it out.  Nobody knows any physics to read these things anyway.  After the ndp came the Libs and their bizarre schemes, such as the Niagara Tunnel to Nowhere.

Ontario was truly destroyed after all that.  That's the main thing about wackies, they destroy the economy.  Left or Right, it doesn't matter.  All we do is build cars that stack up at the border.

The essence of the left is that money grows on trees.  The essence of the US right is that wars are free.  All great stuff.  In celebration of all this good stuff, I shall stop with any rationality.  Who needs it?  I shall just show up at the peak of each season.  This summer will be stifling, but short.  Snow cracks the trees in October.  Think there was a lot of winter this year?  Ha.  Nobody wants that news, so I'll go.

I'll leave all my old posts up, so people can steel (sic) my ideas.  I'm hoping for a twenty year gap between idea and implementation.  Have fun everybody.

Two buck seismometers finally go on bridges

I've been pushing this since the beginning.  However, I still haven't bothered to do any work.  I'm glad somebody is finally doing it.  This should be put on all structures and bridges, good for general monitoring and earthquakes.  I don't want to look at this in detail, because that would be work.

I am always ahead of my time, and I am glad to be still living when I am justified.

ps invention is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.  Guess the part I do.

Yeah, this is what Spring looks like

I had to put out the long view to figure out what the heck happened.  We are getting 'March Lamb' weather in Toronto.  I can finally do some garden work.  You can see that the Arctic air poured down, and then just shut off.  The tiniest wisp of a Pacific plume came in as a weak opportunist, and gave us warmth.

It's not really warm for this time of year, but we'll take what we can get.  That stagnant air pocket should go over the US again, and make the headlines.  I see this happening a few more times.

The Pacific plumes couldn't be more pathetic.  A real Spring has them pouring over us.

The Arctic is recharging.  Eventually, even that place will warm up from the Sun alone.

ps still humping the 'stagnant air solar furnace' thing.

I'm glad they all still have a job.  I've had a horrible dream of them all being thrown out into the snow.

Rational article - very rare

Compared to everything else, Glyphosate is a breath of Spring water.  I laugh at California when a farmer picks this out all the zillion chemicals he drinks up, and says it caused his cancer.  Farmers should not drink this, since the glyph is not the worse chemical in the bottle.  It needs tons of stuff to spread it, coat the plants, etc.

glyph is also produced in sewage plants when you chlorinate the waste water.

Ocean current report - March 28, 2026

The heating event of 2024 was so huge, that we can only stare in amazement.

This was the Elliest of El Ninos, yet it was totally missed by the weather crowd.  That's because it didn't reverse down the rail tracks of the Pacific Equatorial Belt, but went straight south.

You can still see the leftover blob in the deep south Pacific.  How can they be so wrong with not a peep anywhere?  Welcome to my world of a few readers in the world.

The weather people have conjured a story that the wind drives the ocean currents.  Going with physics, which is not 'truth' in the legal sense, water carries heat energy thousands of times better than air.  What they call 'climate change' extrapolation is really just long-term weather forecasting, as climate has always been defined as 'hindsight'.  In weather forecasting as the one-year period, I have always been 100% right, and they have been 100% wrong.  Fat lot of good that does me, they have the best excuses.

Since the 'Little Ice Age' we have had a Pacific current pattern giving us an El Nino and La Nina cycle every 7 years or so.  This has gone the way of college students writing their own papers, or studying math and physics.  We are in a boldncold new world!

The feed water for the Pacific belt has turned over to come from the south.  This is a massive change and I have the hypothesis that this is a new 'major ice cycle' or 'little ice age'.  Using the Scientific Method, this could easily be tested, but the myth-makers can't take the tiniest bit of physics.

I would show the ocean currents, but they are same since the great turnover in 2016.  But this is significant news:

The Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic belt have run out of heat energy again, after 2024.  They kept the UK warm through the Gulf Stream.  Bye-bye heat!

We have reached the fine state of zero (close enough!) heat energy in  the oceans.  That means no more moderating winds.  We are in a state of stratified temperatures along the lines of latitude.  Lucky for us, we have residual negative heat energy in the Arctic for now, and gravity will send waves of cold air over us, until that runs out.  Expect a very short, intense stagnant summer, where we will be endlessly hit by "This is climate change in action".

ps we are in the major ice cycle, but there is nothing stopping another 2024 event.  Maybe ask for that at Christmas.

ps they are now quietly calling 2024 an El Nino retroactively.

The slippery slime knows no bounds.

Cold is ignored

We've had a huge sweep of cold in a maximum Arctic spill that still continues.

The two-day stagnant weather was reported everywhere as proof of clange, and this cold is ignored.

The latest micro heating event is hooking down, and I don't see an end to the Arctic spills, at least for all of April.  Our Spring normally comes from sweeping Pacific plumes, and none of those.

ps UK having fun with a trickle of Arctic air.

ps and the US finally admits the heat wave has ended.

Yeah, Calgary slaps on another band-aid

I just thought this deserved a quick notice.  They think they can test using geophysics, but all the basic physics is wrong.  I think we can go another few months before the next break.

Major Arctic spill for $200 oil

Strong southern winds are fighting it.

The winds have almost reached the Gulf Coast.  As with the 70's, I expect a frozen April, with warmth in May.  Tomatoes to be planted end of May.

However, this shows another micro heating event, but no sign of it with the other signals.  This puts my forecast at 50%.

Laws here, laws there, laws everywhere

The good news is that the trans mountain oil pipeline is full and Canada is making money.  The bad news is that everybody and their dog are making laws that suspend the Charter.  When they did the charter, they put this in to keep the provinces from whining too much.  Now, they are constantly using it.

This is not making money.  Alberta wants to ban baby books, or how to make a baby.  QC wants to make your life miserable if you are a uni-lang type, like me.  No brains are going there.

A hodgepodge of laws does not efficiency make.  Sad.  All brains go to California.

Trump gets mad at his sock puppet

"I'm sorry Mr. Iran.  You made me a few billion bucks with insider trading, but you have to get serious."

Great Stagnant Climate Change Heat Wave Lasted a Day

Not a speck of "This is clange in action" today.  They've all gone back to their granite homes.

Things are blowing through.  Lots of storms.

Greenland is white, indicating an active Arctic.

The US is still warmer than the old days, but that isn't very warm.

Arctic winds are tearing down into the US.  In Toronto, we are going up and down like a yo-yo.  Apparently very good for the maple syrup run.  Go visit a maple operation.  Maple trees evolved for this weather, acting as a giant heat pipe.

Trump makes good money talking to his sock puppet

I'm sorry, but this used to be mind blowing corruption.  Now, it's just an every day thing for the US.  I believe his bank account is up to over 100 billion by now.  The man knows how to make money!

So, oil goes way up.  "I'm talking to my sock puppet, Mr Iran"  And the price goes down.  The amazing thing is that everybody believed him!  If I had known about this in advance, I'd have gone the other way and lost my shirt.  His crony network made a good advance bet, nothing inside at all!

All these old anti-corruption organizations are old-school.  We have total corruption as every day business.  And no need to pay tax on corruption, because the never pay tax anyway!  Nobody gets hurt, because the lefty opposition thinks money grows on trees.  I expect the stock market to go up on this news of new massive corruption.

Everyday corruption saves us from being nuked.  No parties with naked little girls if everything is fried.  Poots knows this, they all do.  The top Iranians are good with money in Panama.  It's all good.

The Law Comes After the Scientific Method and Physics

And this is why I'm always making fun of the UK.  The religion wants to execute the heretics.  I can't argue with them.

One complaint was about comments from a Talk guest who said in November that climate change “was a deliberate effort to create fake anxiety … out of something that is false”.

Who would say such a thing?  Why can't they make lots of money out of anxiety?  Anxiety is real.  I hope they get those people and stretch them on the rack.

ps not just the UK, I can make fun of lefty paradises like BC and QC.

This is adding injury to insult!  Make the climate lefties work on oil pipelines?  Oh, the agony!

And this is why we can't have nice things

And in a massive blow to the Canadian Economy, phoney outrage demands that everybody be a tv actor, and speak all languages.

And this wasn't his dang fault!  Who parks a firetruck on the active runway?  Yes, for the sake of the loonies, we should fire this guy, and put in a good actor.  I think Trump will do after he's finished siphoning billions of dollars our of the economy.  He would have a good excuse on why there's no French.

ps this is a demand that everybody should be an influencer.  They 'drip' with sincerity and sound totally competent.  Influencers should control the world  .. wait, they do!

Toronto housing finally goes its natural course - straight down

This has defied gravity for a long time, and I never understood it.  We had international hot money rolling in and prices went to a ridiculous peak.  Then the money rolled out, which was something like 5 years ago.  Since then, everything has been the 'living dead'.  In 1990, we had the third child coming and wanted to move out of our tiny city house.  In the course of a month, the price dropped 40%.  I kept reducing the price, and it sold.  The market was clean and the house we were after also dropped.

This market has not been clean.  I suspect the banks were doing something dirty to keep the zombies walking.  All shattered now.  The monster house up the road was worth 4mil at the peak, recently was asking 2.8 and went down to 2.6 before being removed from the market.  They pasted a phoney 'Sold' sign on it, and we were surprised.  We have lots of monster houses not being sold.

The monster houses are probably at 50%, condos at 50% and regular housing 30%.  Our major ice cycle has delayed Spring to May, and this probably crashed the market.

ps sorry, this is not a crash.  A crash is dynamic.  People start buying the garbage.  This is just the continuation of the zombie market, supported by the banks.  This went on a long time in Japan, but they finally created a 'bad bank' which took up the losses.

Back to stagnant stratification

No energy in the Arctic spills.  Looks like we are back to the big stagnant zone in the states.

Very boring times, the warmies are ascendant.  Blah blah.

Couldn't pick a better spot for underground nuclear

A long time ago, I wrote endless blog posts about a huge earthquake zone activated by fluid injection about a mile deep.  It was obvious to me they were activating a heck of a huge fault zone, and playing with starting an M7-8 earthquake, like New Madrid.

Now, this nuclear plant is a mile deep under an open head of water.  I'm so glad they have looked closely at this issue, and dismissed the injected earthquake threat.

I've said before, for the Bruce Nuclear Waste Site, that it was the worst place in the world.  It was cancelled and moved to a place I know nothing about.  I can't say this is the worst place in the world for an underground nuclear plant.

I'm thinking that with all the earthquakes that happened here, that it is the cheapest land they could buy.

ps.  I have written a lot of stuff about underground things and earthquakes.  In general, it's the safest thing in the world.  But not right on top!  A long pencil-thin thing runs the risk of being sheared, just like my dock at the cottage in the winter.  Shear this nuclear sucker and the open head blows right out, like a geyser of doom.  They can pay me a lot of money to say exactly the same thing, but I have no gravitas, and am never believed.

ps I'm not following this any more.  It will take care of itself, as they drill deeper.  This is trumpy country and nobody could talk to them.  All the previous data from the injections was kept secret, and anything from this will be the same.

Greenland white again

Hard to call, but this Arctic spill is moving down like a Mag 8, but there is warm air to oppose it.  I have no idea what will happen.

ICE takes over air traffic ground control

ps they are just going to assist by randomly pulling people out of the control tower, and the long security lines.

ps and amazingly enough, everybody believes and hangs on trumpy's every word.

Bulldozer of Cold Continues

Looks like lots of storms for the trumpstates.

The Pacific plumes couldn't touch the California heat lock.  So, they can continue "This is climate change in action".  I can't conceive of anything that would change their collective minds.  We are talking a hard-core fanatic religion here.

ps oh well, there's always El Nino anxiety.  It's being pulled out of a hat.

In reality, we are diving to new cold.

None of these anxiety articles use any charts any more.  Just lip-flapping.

Lithium batteries

This whole thing will go away when we get the solid-state batteries.  However, for now, you can't beat the power density of free lithium.  There is that magic battery from Finland.

This is 99% lithium, or it follows the general plan.  Boy charges his lithium scooter in the garage, under the hanging patio furniture.  Bang!

The lithium fires are a million to one individually, but regularly go on on a community basis.  That why the fire people are all poopy on them.  So, you lean the e-bike up against an empty brick wall, and you install a smoke detector for the garage.  Amazingly, in our lithium age, there is no requirement to do so.

The fire always starts out small with tons of smoke.  My tests showed that.  With a smoke detector, you can get the hanging fire extinguisher and put out the secondary fire, if there is one.  I wouldn't spray the battery itself, because you are better off just letting the lithium oxidize.  The oxidized smoke is as harmless as my bbq deciding to flare.

This leads to the general problem with China quality control.  You can have a perfect company, and wonderful products, like I buy all the time, and then, wham!  A most horrendous quality failure.  The ISO quality standard is so boring it makes your brain fall out, but the standard lays out small-minded consistency.  So, if your quality is good, it is always good.  In China, they pick parts out of a bin in the local market.  I buy small things all the time, but the failure is one out of ten.  With my battery shaver, this leaves me in the lurch, until I can wait the week to get a new one.  They are cheap, so I bought two, and of course, this latest one has lasted forever.

I can't trust them for large complex things.  I was looking for a fancy toilet and the Chinese one is the best.  But, a lady said the plastic with the foam dispenser reacted badly with the foam and had a horrendous smell for a week.  It went away, and she was happy, but Hello?  That means in a near-perfect run of toilets, one had the wrong interior plastic.  Same thing happened for me and a Chinese kitchen tap.  Started to crack with the plastic parts inside, and luckily I caught it before it exploded.  Actually had to go out and buy an American Standard tap.  That never happens with them.

So, when we get a lot of Chinese electric cars, some will blow up.  Maybe not.  I've bought things of perfect quality from branded companies, so I think they are following ISO.  But who knows?

ps just to be fair to China, the Korea toilets seem just as bad.  You can pay 3 or 4 times more for a Japanese toilet, but that might as well be tumpified in solid gold.

ps so for small things it is cheaper to replace, except for plumbing things.
