Wet time in BC tonight

I'm still shocked about that massive drop in all ocean temperatures yesterday.  Perhaps all the instruments needed their batteries changed after the holiday.  I am happy to report that I may have 4000 hits a day of real people, although none of the natgas people making their fortune have bought me a cup of coffee.  I still haven't cashed out my single few coins in the cup, because as any street beggar knows, that holds down the paper cup.

Today's show is the big rains about to hit BC.

This is a strong Pacific plume.  It will be met by cold air which equals rain.  The weather people somehow think this is a 'river' but it is just moist air, and needs cold air to condense it.

Europe has an A6 blob hitting it, fighting a plume.  Lots of rain, but who wins?

Finally a huge mystery for N Am which may be cleared up today.  The surface winds show something like another A8 spill, but it doesn't show anywhere else.

The surface winds indicate that the basin vortex has busted out towards us.  It also shows that the Greenland Gap winds are muckifying, ending the Europe threat.  It hurts my brain.  Someone, buy me a coffee!

The weather model, which is forced to use physics on the sly, shows just a 'Spear of Destiny' coming at us.  This still makes for a cold Toronto.

So I end this in total confusion.  Have a nice day!
