So my laser printer a Phaser 6125n has finally become useless for Linux. It's 20 or 30 years old and everything has been replaced by cheap Chinese parts. However, it uses a very old printer language, and that has finally bit the dust.
All the new printers have other printer languages. Even good old Postscript is gone from Linux. I ordered a new minimal laser printer. We only need a printer rarely, and laser is good for that. You don't want the horrors of inkjets drying out.
