Just back from the cottage. It was getting warmer and warmer. This giant blob is very complex. It being split by Gulf air, and shoved by Pacific air. I'm calling it a fat clipper. It would have the properties of lots of rain, and very cold nights.
You can see it's bringing freezing nights into the provinces. Greenland is very dark blue.
The real battle is up in the Alaska region.
The Pacific and Arctic are battling it out. If we want the nice weather again, we have to root for the Pacific.
ps. the lower winds show a different picture from the higher-altitude Mimic. They have already undercut the warmth, and are well into the US.
