First curl forms on low-heat-energy Atlantic belt

Remember, they predicted an 'active' Atlantic hurricane season.  I've taken that to mean the top 25 percentile.  Who knows what they'll say when the season is a flop.  Most likely, they say nothing.

There's the curl forming.  To be a hurricane, it has to suck heat energy from very warm water.

The water isn't that hot.

The chart may get into the top 25%, but I doubt it.

This is the 'hurricane factory' zone they measure.  Looks sad.

The Fish Opinion is that this will be a damp squib.  If it goes for a while, it will suck all the heat energy up, leaving none for its nest-mates.
