New Zealand strong ground motion

Error - only 8 cm/s

Looks like nothing closer than 80 km, PGV is 80 cm/s.  I would have loved to see a recording on top of the thrust hammer zone, but alas.

It's not well organized yet.  The PGV is enough to destroy well-built houses and soft-story condos.

Whoops, didn't read that right, only 8 cm/s.  Forget all that.  I need the map that shows the readings in relation to the fault.

ps.  Wellington, along the fault, is 30 cm/s, which is about right to knock down brick buildings.
