Ottawa River M3.7 Earthquake

Yeah!  We have our own earthquake!  There's a fantastic earthquake mechanism around Cornwall, that brought us the 1944 Cornwall earthquake.  But the seismic monitoring hasn't been up to the standard to resolve it.  I wonder what NW trending basement structure is responsible.  Maybe it's just something parallel to the Champlain rift of the Ottawa-area failed rift.

See what a little public interest will do to an ineffective bureaucracy.
Pump seal failure and 73,000 litres (oddly specific number) of secondary loop coolant gone astray.

The beat goes on.

The news has generally been pretty depressing lately I'll agree.
